About Us

Val Baker

Val has a fine pedigree as a musician and singer in Cornwall and has a lifelong love of music of all genres.

A Falmouth lass born and bred, it is a dream come true for her to play DJ every week on the Source. Her show ‘Musical recipes’ is a mix of many different genres, but you can always expect something to get your feet tapping, something to tug at your heartstrings and something to put a smile on your face.

With smatterings of info and wit (guess who wrote this!!) between tracks her show is always fun. We are amazed that she hasn't won any awards!! So is she…..Ha Ha Ha!!!

Jade Dunbar

Jade  was born into a circus family and has worked with many circus theatre groups including the acclaimed Cirque Bijou, Threesixtyº and Tao Productions as well as at events across the UK, Europe, India and the Middle East.

Having run the Circus Big Top at Glastonbury Festival since 1995, she specialises in new work and commissions; her talent for discovering and nurturing new work has since become recognised as The Glastonbury Arts Commission award for new programming.

Katherine Moseley

Katherine lives in Cornwall, and loves music (all kinds), water and the outdoors! Singing (not just round the campfire) is a passion of hers and finding new genres of music to bring to the masses is  her motivation for being involved in Stomp and Twang.

She's keen to see events like this in Cornwall and using them as a catalyst to bring the community together while offering experience to those that are often overlooked.

Thom Podgoretsky

Thom is a touring musician playing the blues, country and Cajun and Zydeco. He plays several instruments including the saxophone, guitar and Dobro.

Thom is one of the creators of the Gator by the Bay Festival in San Diego.

In his spare time, Thom's a market gardener growing sustainable vegetables - specialising in growing chillies, heritage tomatoes and lemons.
